Recorder's Report: The report was approved. You can find the minutes for the meeting.
Financial Secretary's Report: We have a 93 members, 3 new members this year, and a quota of 6. We have 2 new insurance members, with 1 more needed to meet our goal. We have received the annual Supreme membership per capita of $236.25. There are 3 inactive members, 11 Honorary Life members and 2 Honorary members. The semi-annual audit is due Feb. 15 which should be completed by the next meeting. We also have a Fraternal Survey form that is due. The awards for the Honorary Life and Honorary members have been sent for.
We have received $120 for new members dues, a $25 check for last years dues, $120 for the dinner was paid, $56.32 for Tootsie Rolls was received, and $40 for the "Keep Christ in Christmas" Magnets. On January 21st.
On January 21st,we will be having the Free throw competition. Please check with Dave or Ryan as to what you can do to help. You can show up at 11:30am to help with the setup. The schools have been given information to make announcements. On Jan. 22, we will be helping with the Church's Right to Life committee's Pancake Breakfast. Please show up to help with the setup, serving, and cleanup. On March 23rd, we have reserved the Church Hall for a Fish Fry. Please mark that date on your calendars.
Grand Knight's Report: The Grand Knight began with a report about a new requirement for the Star Council award. We must host or participate in 4 First degree ceremonies. There will be a first degree on Monday, Jan 16th, an Leo Council will be hosting one in Feb. Please get your form 100's in so they can be read. March is still available for a First Degree ceremony. The District Free Throw contest will be on Sun, Feb 12, at the Believers Together Center in Moline. The doors will open at 10:00am, and the competition will begin at 10:30am.
Treasurer's Report: None
Old Business: No Old Business was presented.
New Business: The first available date for another pancake breakfast that will can host ourselves is in July. Please put the 15th of July on your calendars.
Field Agent's Report: Congratulations on the Degree ceremony. He has Form 100s for 2 transfers from the Annawan council. He recommends that we host a first degree ceremony in March. We should also start looking for officers. The Deputy Grand Marshall should check with the current officers to see if they are willing to serve another term, then look for members to fill in for those officers that cannot continue. We should hold a vote on the slate of offices in April or May.
